About
TransGrid’s new 330/132kV Stockdill Substation is designed to supply reliable electricity to the ACT independent of the existing Canberra Substation.
Cappello undertook 27,000m³ of excavation and earthworks, construction of approx. 250 individual concrete footings and steel work supports, construction of access roads, grassed and vegetated swale drains and rain gardens.
Cappello also installed conduits, earth grid and the spill oil drainage system consisting of pits, pipes, and a tank with around 400m³ capacity.
